Whether you are new to genealogy or a seasoned researcher we invite you to come join this group for sharing of information and ideas. Directions to the Barrington Public Library (105 Ramsdell Lane, Barrington, NH 03825):
From Route 16 (Spaulding Turnpike) heading south, take the Exit 12 for Rte 125 Rochester. Take a right at end of ramp heading south. Go through 3 sets of lights. Take a right hand turn at the 4th set of lights onto Rte 9 West towards Concord. Travel approx. 1.7 miles down Rte 9. You will see Ramsdell Lane on your right hand side. There is a blue library sign. We are the green building at the top of the hill on the left hand side.
From Rte 4, travel to the Lee traffic circle. Take the turn off for Rte 125 (north towards Rochester) and travel to the junction of Rte 9. Take a left hand turn onto Rte 9 (west) and follow the directions above.
From Rte 28, take Rte 126 through Strafford. At the stop sign continue straight, bear to your right when the road splits (Rte 126). At the end of this road bear left and then take your immediate right hand turn (following Rte 126). At the end of this road, bear left onto Rte 9. Take the next left onto Ramsdell Lane. You will see the former school building, a playground, and the library sits directly next door.
